From its inception, R.T.Casey, L.L.C. has performed splicing, termination and testing services on medium and high voltage electrical distribution systems.
In the late 1970’s , R. T. Casey began to design, supply, install and service submarine power and communication cables for offshore oil and gas companies. This work lead to the company designing and fabricating its own submarine splice assembly, with numerous units installed in both shallow and deep-water applications. As the company grew, it continued to branch out in other fields of electrical fabrication, contracting and supply.
Beginning in the early 1980’s, R.T.Casey began designing and fabricating switchgear and transformer packages for the offshore oil industry. Our packaged vacuum or SF-6 switchgear, and transformers appear on many platforms in the Gulf of Mexico and abroad.
In 2008, the company expanded its services to offer turn-key packages for offshore construction, remediation and abandonment services. Custom designed services are provided for each project, insuring excellence and Incident Free Operations.
In 2015, R.T.Casey undertook a complex project to complete shore end horizontal directional drills at multiple site along the Alaskan coast within the Arctic Circle. The company utilized Subject Matter experts and accomplished subcontractors to complete the work in a timely and cost effective manner, thus making shore end HDD completion a new service addition to R.T.Casey.
